Anamorphic Cherry Blossoms

Every April/May tons of people gather in High Park to picnic, photo take, and generally have a good time under the blossoming cherry trees. Here is a little video shot at sunset under the trees.

polaroids...

a little piece shot on the weekend to test out my new 35mm and 80mm Lomo anamorphic square front lenses. LOVE the image, the barrel distortion on the 35 is lovely and the bokeh on the 80 is incredible!

thanks for watching!

i love pulling frames from these anamorphic videos, it eliminates the CMOS issues and lets the anamorphic artifacts really stand out.. and so here are some grabs:

make sure the HD is switched on!

a Holga instant christmas!

So I recently acquired a Holga 120SF camera but hadn't been too inspired to take many photos with it in the cold and snow. Until that is, Ryan ever so amazingly gave me a polaroid back for Christmas. It looks pretty ridiculous and renders the fairly terrible viewfinder even more terrible but it is super fun and I think the characteristic look of Holga shots lend themselves to instant film nicely. Here is the first couple of shots as well as my goofy looking camera.
